T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Cloud Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions to meet the Department of Treasury’s enterprise-wide infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and designing cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI) and designing/building solutions, and processes to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments.

In Short

Develop and design cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI).
Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure.
Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones.
Support implementation of security policies and governance.
Continuously assess and onboard new FedRAMP cloud services.
Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and at least 4 years' experience.
Proven background working in cloud environments with experience in Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and CSPs.
Experience with containerization and management, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
Knowledge of cloud high availability and disaster recovery planning.
