Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and directing company security functions, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies.

• Manage classified security programs and personnel security clearances.
• Supervise security measures within the facility.
• Develop and manage document control procedures for classified information.
• Conduct security education and training.
• Review and investigate security-related incidents.
• Ensure compliance with federal security regulations.
• Requires a U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.
• Some rare travel to company sites may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years in security administration.
• Experience with classified materials and security procedures.
• Experience in developing and conducting security education classes.
• Experience in coordinating and processing security clearances.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Current Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.
• Must be capable of sitting and entering data for extended periods.
• Must be able to view computer monitors for extended periods.
• Periodic retests for drug screening and physical fitness are required.
