Senior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for interfacing with our clients to define business and technical requirements to help drive their organizations. This client-facing position will be an integral part of a growing sector in our business and will play a key role in a variety of projects. Within our organization, Senior Business Analysts are integral members of the solution delivery team, working very closely with the Clients, and our internal teams to ensure the delivery of a solution that is aligned to the business needs and goals. Superior abilities in client facilitation to drive through to executional priorities is a critical component for success in this role.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions to improve people, process, and technology.
• Execute presentation of client-based deliverables.
• Document current state business processes and workflows.
• Perform gap analysis and develop recommendations.
• Define and design future state business processes.
• Gather and analyze business requirements for projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams for solution delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior BAs.
• Travel required 5-7 times per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Referenceable history of success facilitating conversations with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements.
• Experience in business intelligence tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
