Overview

We are a leading SaaS provider in our field, operating a variety of customer environments in our cloud. To ensure the smooth operation of these environments, we are looking for a Support Operations Engineer who will assist in managing, monitoring, and optimizing our SaaS environments and serve as a point of contact for our customers regarding any issues that arise.

In Short

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our SaaS environments on staging and production clusters.
  • Prioritize, analyze, and resolve issues in customer environments within defined response and resolution times.
  • Work closely with product development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations and continuously improve IT operations processes.
  • Assist customers with operational and configuration questions about our software.
  • Coordinate changes and actively contribute to improving support functions and optimizing user experience.
  • Take on on-call shifts to ensure the best possible customer support.
  • Responsible for documenting systems and configurations.

Requirements

  • Completed studies or vocational training in computer science or a related field.
  • Basic IT knowledge in Linux, networking, and REST API integration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes environments is ideal.
  • Experience with YAML files is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude when dealing with customers.
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills.
