Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Business/Functional Analyst to lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective documentation and management of requirements.

In Short

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements.
• Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
• Perform Agile requirement management activities.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Use JIRA for Requirements Management, Testing, and Defect Management.
• Validate requirements and conduct backlog refinement sessions.
• Support development teams in understanding requirements.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Strong background in software development and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with JIRA tools.
• 10 years of professional experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must qualify for a Public Trust security clearance.
