Principal Network Engineer – Wireless - Remote

Overview

The Principal Network Engineer – Wireless at Symbotic will provide technical leadership and support for wireless data networks, ensuring optimal performance and security across various platforms.

In Short

• Design and support wireless network infrastructure (WLAN).
• Manage projects from scoping to deployment.
• Troubleshoot network outages and resolve technical issues.
• Research and implement new wireless technologies.
• Provide Tier 3 on-call support coverage for customers.
• Create manuals and support documentation.
• Work with other IT functions to support WLAN systems.
• Experience with HP Aruba wireless technology.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in wireless network technologies.
• Deep experience with Aruba wireless technology.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies is a plus.
• Experience with network performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of networking technologies (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Ability to work in a multi-tenant high uptime production environment.
• Willingness to try new technologies and methods.
• Experience with installation of outdoor fixed wireless systems.
• Ability to provide technical assessment from conception to launch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
