In Short

• Join a dynamic Hardware team to develop medical devices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on product design and improvements.
• Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems.
• Create and review mechanical design documentation.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams.
• Stay updated with mechanical engineering trends.
• Work on-site 2-3 times a week in Porto.
• Travel 2-4 times a year for work-related projects.
• Experience in developing medical devices or similar products is required.
• Fluency in English and exceptional technical writing skills are necessary.

Requirements

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design of injection molded products.
• Proficiency with CAD design, ideally CATIA V5/V6.
• Experience with GD&T and statistical tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation and processes.
• Hands-on approach with a strong execution-focused mindset.
• Ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift.
• Familiarity with PDM and PLM systems is a plus.
• Experience with Mold Flow Analysis and FEA Simulation is desirable.
• Experience in designing for compliance testing in US, UK, and EU.
