Android Embedded OS Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Develop system applications and services for an AOSP-based OS.
• Develop internal tools to support the production process.
• Maintain the OS for multiple devices.
• Customize OS to improve patient user experience.
• Contribute to build system and release process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and debug functional and performance issues.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide support.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience with C/C++, Python, and shell programming languages.
• Experience working with AOSP.
• Good knowledge of Android OS internals.
• Good knowledge of Linux OS.
• Basic understanding of REST API integration.
• Bonus points for experience with Radio (Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low-Energy, and WIFI).
