Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Swish Analytics, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant to support the growing needs of the company. This position will support multiple areas of accounting for multiple entities including Cash, AR, Prepaid, Fixed Assets, AP, Payroll among others.

In Short

• Assisting the accounting team in daily, monthly, and annual activities including the preparation of the journal entries for cash, accounts receivable, prepaid, fixed assets and other general ledger accounts
• Generating AR invoices including foreign currency transactions
• Applying cash to AR invoices
• Recording payroll for international subsidiary
• Preparing reconciliations including prepaid, accrued expenses, fixed assets, credit card and vendor/client monthly reports
• Supporting the accounting team in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
• Supporting the accounting team in the process of evaluating monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuations
• Documenting and establishing accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

• 4 years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of full cycle accounting
• Detail-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects
• Strong skills in Excel
• Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred
