As a Software Engineer at Swing Left and Vote Forward, you will design, build, and maintain the technical infrastructure that powers our programs, ensuring our digital tools effectively support volunteer action and organizational goals.

In Short

Develop and manage software solutions for Swing Left and Vote Forward programs.
Lead the technical implementation of the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate across user testing, experimental design, and product iteration.
Identify engineering opportunities for optimization.
Implement integrations with grassroots organizing tools.
Maintain data infrastructure for application operations and analysis.
Support organizational rapid-response efforts.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in software development.
Experience in data analysis collaboration is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud services and web hosting platforms.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Python, and HTML.
Experience with database management using SQL or similar languages.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a virtual workplace.
