Overview

This role is in the Platform Engineering organization where we build the foundational services that power Thomson Reuters’ products, focusing on capabilities that help deliver digital products to customers.

In Short

  • Join the Platform Engineering’s Service Mesh team.
  • Engineer and operate Service Mesh capability based on Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Establish software engineering best practices.
  • Drive test and deployment automation.
  • Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with product teams and maintain transparency.
  • Engage in a Scrum team and embrace agile methodologies.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud technology trends.
  • Work in a DevOps culture.
  • Contribute to building cloud-native infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • 1+ years of cloud-native infrastructure experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, or Azure AKS.
  • Experience with Istio or other Service Mesh technologies.
  • Knowledge of container security and supply chain security.
  • Experience with declarative infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes operators written in Golang.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
