Overview

The Major Gift Officer serves as a valuable member of the advancement team with direct responsibility for development fundraising and donor relations, aiming to expand financial support for the pro-life movement.

In Short

• Manage a portfolio of 150 major gift prospects.
• Conduct personal visits with major donors and prospects.
• Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies.
• Prepare written proposals and gift agreements.
• Utilize Blackbaud (Raisers Edge NXT) for donor management.
• Collaborate with the advancement team on fundraising strategies.
• Maintain an annual “Top 10” pool of prospective major gift donors.
• Engage and cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors.
• Meet annual revenue targets through effective donor engagement.
• Be a passionate advocate for the pro-life movement.

Requirements

• Must be pro-life.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality required.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
