Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is a national organization dedicated to engaging white people in the fight for racial and economic justice. Through a network of over 150 local chapters and circles across the US and Canada, SURJ aims to build a multiracial coalition that advocates for the needs of all communities. The organization focuses on organizing white individuals by highlighting their shared interests in collaboration with people of color, fostering leadership development, and executing electoral campaigns to counter authoritarianism and reclaim governing power.
