Overview

As a Consultant in Restoration and Remediation at Surefire Cyber, you will play a critical role in assisting clients recover from cyber incidents, restoring compromised systems, and implementing effective remediation strategies.

In Short

• Provide post-incident recovery and collaborate with the DFIR team.
• Restore compromised systems to a pre-incident state.
• Develop and execute remediation plans tailored to client needs.
• Investigate and address complex security issues.
• Collect digital artifacts and assist in digital forensic activities.
• Utilize systems administration skills for restoration and configuration.
• Troubleshoot network issues and assist with configurations.
• Document all restoration and remediation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic proficiency in analyzing cyber incidents.
• Foundational knowledge of various operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services and network administration.
• Experience with configuring firewalls and Active Directory.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
