We are an innovative and fast-paced venture in iGaming, dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences across multiple new brands. We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation and processes that ensure the robustness and reliability of our platform. This role will complement our engineering team, collaborating closely with the Lead Frontend and Backend developers.

In Short

Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks, focusing on UI, API, and performance testing.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a "quality-first" mindset and embed testing early in the development lifecycle (shift-left testing).
Develop and execute automated test cases, ensuring test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements.
Establish CI/CD pipelines with robust automated test suites to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Design and implement performance and load testing strategies to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers, fostering continuous improvement in testing practices and automation coverage.
Drive the adoption of QA best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance overall software quality.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and deliverables.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in QA roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and their integration with automated testing pipelines.
Knowledge of scripting/programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Go for creating custom test scripts.
Strong understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
Experience with cloud-based test environments (e.g., AWS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating quality risks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering and product teams.
