QA Lead Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
• Develop a QA testing strategy for the product, balancing manual and automated tests.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to QA team members.
• Champion quality initiatives and drive discussions on process enhancements.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Write clear bug reports quickly and concisely.
• Ensure quality issues and defects are documented and tracked in JIRA.
• Serve as a point of contact for QA-related concerns.
• Be proactive in keeping your skills fresh.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Able to create clear, concise test plans.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Knowledge of best practices for agile testing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with testing tools like Pytest, Selenium, and Postman.
• Strong database experience with Postgres SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
