Overview

The Labor Compliance Analyst monitors, reviews, and enforces the Companies Labor Compliance Program in accordance with the companies and DIR accepted practices, ensuring compliance with California Labor Code and other regulatory requirements.

In Short

  • Monitor and enforce Labor Compliance Program.
  • Prepare and present labor compliance requirements at meetings.
  • Respond to prevailing wage questions from contractors and workers.
  • Facilitate reporting of prevailing wages and resolve wage violations.
  • Collect and review Certified Payroll Records from contractors.
  • Conduct investigations on alleged contractor violations.
  • Notify contractors of audits and conduct pre-meetings.
  • Assist in developing labor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Travel to project sites for site visits and interviews.
  • Maintain updated labor compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in public works construction.
  • Bachelor's degree or related degree.
  • Understanding of construction practices and labor laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid California driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
