Overview

The Retirement Plan Administrator will manage the complete administration of a caseload including compliance testing, valuation reporting, and client communication, ensuring accurate and compliant retirement plan operations.

In Short

  • Administer full-cycle plan operations for 401(k) and retirement plans.
  • Perform compliance testing including ADP/ACP and Top Heavy testing.
  • Coordinate year-end valuations and interpret plan documents.
  • Process participant transactions such as loans and distributions.
  • Prepare and file IRS forms including 5500 and 8955.
  • Reconcile plan assets and complete trust accounting tasks.
  • Manage census and participant data.
  • Communicate effectively with clients on plan issues.
  • Leverage technology to improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and testing standards.
  • Knowledge of ERISA regulations.
  • Proficient in Relius Administration software (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with solid math/accounting skills.
  • Able to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • ASPPA credentials (or in progress) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
