Career Skills Instructor - Remote

Overview

STRIVE is looking for a Career Skills Instructor to assist with serving individuals in their Career Path program, which offers occupational skills training, career coaching, job placement assistance, and lifetime services.

In Short

• Facilitate various modules in STRIVE’s Career Path program.
• Conduct monthly workshop orientations for an average of 50 students.
• Specialize in resume creation and interviewing techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments for continuous support.
• Present information using various instructional techniques.
• Maintain documentation and attendance records in a cloud-based CRM.
• Leverage data to guide program service delivery.
• Complete weekly case notes to document student progress.
• Partner with the business development team for job search workshops.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in job readiness or workforce development.
• Ability to interact positively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of local labor market and employer requirements.
• Professionalism in appearance and punctuality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with cloud-based CRM software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
