Product Designer - Terminal - Remote

Overview

As a product designer on Terminal, you’ll work closely with the go-to-market, product management, hardware, and engineering teams to envision the future of in-person payments in a range of applications.

In Short

• Design, test and iterate on concepts for Terminal reader software and related dashboards.
• Prototype user experiences to investigate with stakeholders and end-users.
• Lead design strategy and innovation for in-person payments.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, product, and engineering.
• Collaborate with teams across Stripe to craft a seamless user experience.
• Understand user workflows and pain points for in-person payments.
• Collaborate with UX research to test and iterate design decisions.
• Collaborate with design systems teams to leverage and improve templates.

Requirements

• 10+ years relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company.
• Strong craft demonstrated through a portfolio of work.
• Ability to tackle complex and ambiguous problems with user-centered solutions.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating closely with hardware engineering teams.
• Comfortable approaching code and technical documentation.
• Experience collaborating with user research partners.
