Overview

The High School Counselor promotes student success by providing preventive services and responding to identified needs through a comprehensive school counseling program focused on academic success, social and emotional development, and career and college readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three years of counseling experience.
• School Counselor License required.
• Ability to clear required background checks.
• Master’s degree in school counseling preferred.
• Experience with distance learning and charter schools preferred.
• Experience in customer service environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of state career planning systems.
