Overview

The QA Engineer II is responsible for ensuring that the release processes of mobile applications occur in an organized, efficient manner with high quality. This role is essential for maintaining fluidity in product version deliveries while keeping constant communication with Engineering, Product, and Quality teams.

In Short

  • Monitor the product release cycle, ensuring operational steps are followed.
  • Manage testing statuses and bug fixes for critical mobile bugs during releases.
  • Update panels, tools, and documentation related to the release process.
  • Communicate with responsible teams regarding any pending issues.
  • Control deadlines, SLAs, and the status of critical bugs and necessary deliveries.
  • Follow operational checklists for releases and ensure criteria are met before launch.
  • Report risks, pending issues, and progress status to involved teams.
  • Monitor the launch in stores, including rollout, stability metrics, and alerts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in operational activities in technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, clarity, and objectivity.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discipline with processes.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, spreadsheets, dashboards, and task tracking systems.
  • Able to consistently follow checklists, operational processes, and routines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Logical reasoning to understand dependencies and sequences in the release cycle.
  • Familiarity with quality metrics or release management.
