Stenon offers the world’s first real-time soil analysis solution for agriculture. With our IoT solution consisting of intelligent sensor fusion, artificial intelligence and data analysis, we are solving a major and global problem in agriculture and society. We provide the necessary data for cultivation optimization that is currently not economically accessible and thus creates extreme value for farmers.

In Short

• Lead the Data-Science Team
• Be responsible for a core pillar of Stenon's products
• Scale our soil nutrient modelling to support more regions globally
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of Data Science projects
• Collaborate across functions with Product, Commercial, and Engineering
• Own the Data Science strategy, vision, and roadmap
• Enhance Stenon's agronomy intelligence layer with additional features and data sources

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science products
• Experience in managing and mentoring people
• Advanced Degree in Engineering or Science
• Proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish
• Exceptional understanding of statistical concepts
• Experience in geo-spatial and/or sensor data processing is considered a plus
• Experience writing and maintaining Python code and the full ML life cycle
• A strong sense for data and code quality
• Experience working directly with internal stakeholders
• Very good communication and English language skills
