Senior Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Electrical Engineer will design, build, and test electrical systems for unmanned maritime systems, addressing various technical challenges including power management and sensor integration.

In Short

• Design and integrate electrical systems including motor controllers and sensors.
• Develop low- and high-voltage architectures for prototypes.
• Create wiring diagrams and schematics using CAD tools.
• Select components for reliability in extreme conditions.
• Collaborate with vendors for electrical system assembly.
• Support field testing and demonstrations with defense partners.

Requirements

• Experience in developing electrical systems for complex platforms.
• Understanding of software practices and programming languages.
• Familiarity with high-voltage architectures.
• Experience with wire harness and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance and ability to travel to South West England 3 days a week.
