In Short

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers.
• Plan, create, and update technical documentation.
• Edit, clarify, and enhance the content experience.
• Learn and explain new technologies and technical concepts to others.
• Work with Starburst Enterprise and Starburst Galaxy products.
• Improve documentation for the Trino open source project.
• Attend in-person events at Boston Headquarters.
• Internship spans 10 weeks from June 2 to August 29, 2025.
• Remote work with some in-person attendance required.
• Paid internship opportunity.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recent graduate in technical writing, computer science, or related field.
• Familiarity with documentation platforms and coding workflows.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical writing skills.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Strong editing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with Markdown or RestructuredText.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data analysis.
• Ability to read source code written in Java.
• Experience with HTML and CSS.
