Coder Analyst I (Ophthalmology Coder) - Remote

Overview

The Coder Analyst I is responsible for supporting coding efforts for documented encounters, research and compliance, with a focus on Ophthalmology Coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a health-related field required.
• Working knowledge of Health Information Management.
• Experience with coding systems (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT) preferred.
• Some experience in medical billing and coding preferred.
• EPIC experience a plus.
• 2 years experience in Ophthalmology clinic and coding desired.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., RN/RHIA/CPC/CPCS).
