Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure and DevOps Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our production systems are secure, reliable, cost-optimized, and performant.

In Short

• Oversee and maintain production environments for optimal performance.
• Implement and manage AWS services.
• Manage and configure NGINX and reverse proxy setups.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Assist in migrating from Elastic Beanstalk to ECS/EKS.
• Utilize Datadog for troubleshooting.
• Implement IaC and Configuration Management tools.
• Develop scripts to automate infrastructure tasks.
• Provide technical assistance for client-specific setups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS services.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with NGINX configurations.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
