Python Developer II - Remote

Overview

Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about learning new technologies and building software to build a monster ecommerce company.

In Short

• This position will be remote in the country of India and will work Monday-Friday during India hours.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) or C#.
• Contribute to data-intensive systems using tools like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and designers to scope, build, and refine scalable services and data flows.
• Use GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI tools to boost development speed.
• Grow your technical depth by learning from senior engineers and adopting CI/CD best practices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience building backend applications or data systems in Python or C#.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and Kafka.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (especially AWS) and version control (Git).
• Strong communication skills across time zones and functions.
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new tools like DBT or AWS Glue.
