Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

Our client, a car insurance company, is now looking for an Analytics Engineer to take ownership of analytics, reporting, and BI dashboards for a growing AI-driven team within a leading technology organization.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards tracking ML model performance.
• Translate model performance data into business terms for stakeholders.
• Extend and maintain existing DBT incremental models.
• Design alerting logic for model degradation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to define healthy performance metrics.
• Respond to ad-hoc analytical questions from various teams.
• 5+ years in analytics engineering or data analytics.
• Experience with Looker, LookML, and DBT.
• Strong SQL skills for complex analytical queries.
• Ability to work independently and identify data issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, BI development, or data analytics.
• Experience with Looker and LookML.
• Production experience with DBT.
• Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience designing performance dashboards.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings.
• Experience with Airflow or similar tools.
• Familiarity with ML model evaluation concepts.
• Ability to work independently.
