Ground Network Specialist (Starlink) - Remote

Overview

SpaceX is looking for creative and driven field specialists to solve issues affecting sites and antenna availability for the Starlink project, contributing to the development of the largest network of ground station antennas.

In Short

• Deploy, troubleshoot, and repair Starlink ground hardware.
• Travel internationally and domestically for hardware issue resolution.
• Diagnose failures within fiber optic circuits.
• Investigate and resolve issues with commercial network and routing hardware.
• Create and improve training documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering field (telecom, ISP).
• Strong computer skills: MS Office, Visio.
• Attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Experience with fiber optics and network installation.
• Experience with site construction or maintenance.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.
• General physical fitness and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments.
