Windows Desktop Developer (WPF/.NET) - Remote

Overview

As a Windows Desktop Developer at SPACE44, you will be responsible for building and improving internal desktop tools and systems, focusing on developing stable and user-friendly Windows applications that support core business operations.

• Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications using WPF, XAML, and C#.
• Build responsive, performant, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Apply MVVM architecture and clean coding practices.
• Extend and optimize existing tools for improved performance.
• Support updates to legacy components built with WinForms.
• Implement desktop deployment methods such as MSI or ClickOnce.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience with WPF.
• Solid understanding of XAML and UI design principles.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
• Experience with desktop applications (not web-based).
• Familiarity with SQL Server or similar databases.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Comfortable in remote-first, Agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field.
