Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing software application design, development, testing, deployment, and support while working in a hybrid role that allows for remote work.

• Implement software application design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and code peer reviews.
• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
• Decompose software features into user stories and identify business requirements.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand user requirements.
• Contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.
• Review code for bugs and performance issues.
• Work with AWS for application development and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Java, Apache, Spring Boot, Gradle, or Maven.
• Knowledge of SQL or Oracle PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Gitlab and JSON.
• Experience with AWS for application deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role with remote work options.
