Full Stack Developer - Remote

Overview

This role involves working closely with schools and districts to enhance communication between families and educators. You will engage in various tasks including design, coding, testing, deployment, and debugging while collaborating with your team to ship new features.

In Short

• Work on web development with PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop services and applications using MySQL/Postgres.
• Deploy and operate systems on AWS/Aurora/RDS/SQS.
• Proficient in RESTful API development.
• Familiar with agile development processes and CI/CD.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
• Collaboration with customers and Product Owners to define and build new features.
• Mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers.
• Improve the cost, security, scalability, and maintainability of the platform.
• Work across the ecosystem to deliver value for customers.

Requirements

• Experience in web development with PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of MySQL/Postgres for service and application development.
• Experience with AWS/Aurora/RDS/SQS.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: Experience with React and Tailwind CSS.
