Overview

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Virtual Office Manager for our community partner, the Racial Unity Team. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization while developing valuable skills for future professional environments.

In Short

• Support day-to-day operations of the Racial Unity Team.
• Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit administration.
• Assist in various administrative functions such as scheduling and data management.
• Work under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer.
• Coordinate logistics for events and calls.
• Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and reports.
• Maintain and update contact lists and donor databases.
• Assist with event coordination and registration tracking.
• Support research and special projects as assigned.
• Work 15-20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program.
• Work study part of financial aid package.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive work ethic.
• Interest in nonprofit work, education, or racial equity is a plus.
