Senior Backend Engineer (Machine Learning) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the team, with a focus on bridging backend software engineering and applied machine learning.

In Short

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems that power ML-driven features.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models.
• Design APIs and backend services that expose ML functionality to client applications.
• Automate deployment workflows with CI/CD, versioning, and reproducibility.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development (Python, Go, or Java).
• Experience integrating/customizing ML models with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Proven experience deploying ML models into production environments.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
