In Short

• Review and analyze firm new business for conflicts of interest.
• Utilize databases and communicate with colleagues to resolve conflicts.
• Draft waivers and engagement letters for conflict resolutions.
• Communicate with Ethics & Conflicts Committee on complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of conflicts resolutions.
• Investigate and correct data on conflicts reports.
• Assist in preparing conflicts reports.
• Support understanding of compliance procedures among staff.
• Collaborate with business development on initiatives.
• Stay updated on ethics and conflicts best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctorate degrees required.
• Active Bar Membership in state of residence.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably in a large law firm.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to resolve problems using sound judgment.
• Exceptional analytical skills and diligence.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Able to work autonomously or collaborate effectively.
• Capable of coaching colleagues.
