Overview

The Design Engineer, Electrical will be responsible for producing in-house electrical designs for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and industry best practices.

In Short

• Design and develop electrical systems for utility-scale solar projects.
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP, or similar.
• Perform calculations and simulations for MV Routing and DC Conductor Sizing.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
• 2 years experience with utility-scale solar systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
