VP of Engineering - Remote

Overview

Soda is looking for a proven VP of Engineering to strengthen our leadership team. You will work alongside our leadership team and report directly to the CPO, working closely with the product team to accelerate the delivery of the upcoming product features across Data Observability and Data Testing.

In Short

• Ensure fast delivery of product features by structuring engineering work, best practices, and processes.
• Oversee architectural decisions for reliable delivery in the coming years.
• Resolve critical engineering problems hands-on and establish technical credibility.
• Make hiring decisions and manage all engineers.
• Enable ownership and a proactive culture in the engineering team.
• Work closely with the CPO and product team to align with the company's vision.
• Develop a deep understanding of the data quality space and customer challenges.
• Build effective relationships across engineering and the company.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of modern architectural design principles and SaaS product development.
• Experience in API integration and legacy system integration.
• Expertise in building robust, scalable B2B products.
• Appreciation for UX and UI in product development.
• Experience in putting ML systems in production.
• Computer science or Engineering degree or relevant background.
• Track record of leading highly technical engineering teams.
• Strong experience in implementing engineering processes and people development.
