Overview

The Data Engineer will join the AI team at Snowplow, contributing to the development of Snowplow Signals and enhancing the infrastructure for real-time, AI-powered customer experiences.

Requirements

• Mastery of SQL, including performance tuning and manipulation of large datasets.
• Experience with both batch and streaming data processing.
• Familiarity with feature engineering and management tools like Feast.
• Extensive experience using Python for data model generation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and Git source control.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with modern data modeling technologies like DBT.
• Ability to communicate and document technical content clearly.
• Proactive and pragmatic approach to balancing speed and reliability.
