Frontend Web Developer (CRO/Shopify) - Remote

Overview

We are expanding our in-house expertise in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and are looking for you as a Conversion Engineer / CRO Developer to technically implement our online experiments and elevate the customer experience to the next level.

In Short

• Technical implementation of A/B tests and experiments in close collaboration with UX, design, and analytics.
• Rapid prototyping of test variants using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimization of loading times and test performance.
• Debugging and quality control of active tests across various devices and browsers.
• Integration of tracking events via Google Tag Manager.
• Optional integration and customization of Shopify apps or third-party scripts.

Requirements

• Proficient in HTML (Liquid), CSS, and JavaScript with a good eye for frontend.
• Experience with A/B testing tools like Kameleoon, VWO, Optimizely, Convert, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and how to technically test hypotheses.
• Structured and test-driven work approach with a good understanding of data and user behavior.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Ideally familiar with Shopify and/or Google Tag Manager.
