Front-end Shopify Developer - Remote

Overview

As a Front-end Shopify Developer, you will work on the development and maintenance of a number of our Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce websites most of which are based on a headless approach.

In Short

• Build e-commerce sites in Shopify and Shopify Plus.
• Contribute to the development of open source software, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and common web technologies.
• Work on mobile, tablet and desktop solutions.
• Perform regular website testing to ensure functionality.
• Manage daily website updates and changes.
• Support new business sales and pitches.
• Knowledgeable in security and data protection principles.
• Develop testing plans and troubleshoot eCommerce issues.
• Help with website conversion and analytics.
• Monitor and manage website uptime and performance.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in German and English.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, React.js, Vue.js, and ideally Next.js.
• 3+ years experience in Shopify Development.
• Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0 and working with themes.
• Experience with Liquid templating.
• Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps.
• Thorough testing and debugging skills.
• Experience developing for responsive layouts.
• Experience working with 3rd party services and APIs.
