Medical Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for talented Medical Billing Specialists to join our team and make a significant impact on the financial vitality of our healthcare practice!

In Short

• Bill primary and secondary claims.
• New accounts are scrubbed (all data is verified and confirmed that it is entered correctly).
• All claims are scrubbed to ensure codes and # units are billed correctly.
• Electronic claims are batched and sent through the clearinghouse.
• Rejected claims are checked, corrected and re-billed.
• Paper claims are printed, along with any additional documentation and mailed.
• Un-billable claims are sent back to FD with notes.

Requirements

• Must have solid experience as a Medical Biller.
• Knowledgeable in medical coding and experienced with healthcare billing systems.
• Must have experience working for US hospitals or Private Doctor Practice.
• AAPC certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to speak and write English proficiently.
• Must be willing to go to the office for any service interruption.
• Happy and Helpful by nature.
