Overview

As part of a growing company providing optical transceiver solutions to the aerospace and defense market, you will implement, maintain, and contribute to new manufacturing processes in our production environment – RF, optical, and microelectronic components, modules, and subsystems.

In Short

  • Implement processes related to the assembly of optical and microelectronic modules.
  • Program and maintain precision automated assembly equipment.
  • Support production activities related to manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in the commissioning of equipment by performing acceptance tests and inspections of first articles.
  • Contribute to the research and development of new technologies.
  • Participate in the development of new products by manufacturing preliminary concepts and prototypes.
  • Monitor and deploy Statistical Process Controls.
  • Write manufacturing procedures.
  • Provide training to operators.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

  • College degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of optoelectronic technologies – a plus.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Experience in programming precision automated assembly equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with microelectronic chips or components.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with changing priorities.
  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate results effectively.
