Field Service Technician I - West Texas Commercial - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician I will be responsible for meeting service repair needs and ensuring customer satisfaction through the installation, repair, and maintenance of security equipment in the Midland and West Texas area.

In Short

• Daily travel to customer locations in Midland and West Texas.
• Install, repair, and maintain security detection equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repair work.
• Order and manage repair parts.
• Provide technical support and customer training.
• Participate in service sales opportunities.
• Maintain tools and test equipment.
• Comply with safety and environmental policies.
• Requires background investigation for Sensitive Security Information access.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or related trade certification.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel at short notice.
• Basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to work safely in extreme environments.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.
• Computer literacy, especially in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to supervise others on a project basis if required.
