Senior Group Planning Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Planning Analyst to join the SmartestEnergy Group, where you will play a crucial role in supporting both short and long-term financial planning. This key position is responsible for preparing management information and presenting it to the SEL board, C-suite, and Exco, requiring exceptional attention to detail in both reports and commentary.

In Short

• Support short and long-term financial planning.
• Prepare management information for senior stakeholders.
• Track financial targets and report results.
• Collaborate with regional FP&A partners.
• Guide senior management on financial deliverables.
• Oversee coordination of budgets and forecasts.
• Drive development of automated reporting systems.
• Enhance monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Support balance sheet forecasting.
• Work with Treasury on group finance costs.

Requirements

• Degree educated with PQE membership (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Basic financial modelling skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in senior stakeholder management.
• Experience as a finance business partner or external auditor.
