Overview

The Clinical AI Data Specialist (CADS) is a role that lives with the Machine Learning Research Science (MLRS) team. The CADS is responsible for generating high quality clinical examples and labels for the evaluation and training of machine learning models. For example, accessing the clinical validity of diagnosis findings or evaluating the generation of progress notes informed by prebill’s CDI predictions. This role blends clinical expertise with data innovation: unlike clinical ops, it focuses on designing and scaling labeling with software and AI, and unlike data science roles, it requires direct patient-facing experience as the core skillset.

In Short

  • Provide clinical expertise to build an evaluation dataset measuring generative AI hallucinations in various products.
  • Collaborate in the designing, testing, iterating of data labeling & annotation software.
  • Leverage AI/ML to improve quality and efficiency of medical data labeling & annotation.
  • Learn basic technical skills to provide statistics on our data.

Requirements

  • Clinical practice experience working with physicians to provide healthcare to patients on-site.
  • Basic prompt engineering skills and ability to use frontier APIs.
  • Basic python skills or ability to manipulate data in csv files, sql.
  • Relevant degrees include MD, DO, NP, PA, etc., with direct patient care experience.
  • Desire to learn new technical skills such as software development and data science.
  • Ability to communicate complex medical and technical concepts clearly.
