Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant is responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, verifying ledger entries, and performing bank reconciliations while maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients.

In Short

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes.
• Verify if transactions are recorded correctly in the ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliation and partial checks of posting processes.
• Enter data, maintain records, and launch reports.
• Process accounts receivables and payables.
• Assist in preparing management accounts.
• Maintain full sets of books for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare payments, bank reconciliations, and financial reports in Xero.
• Prepare unaudited financial statements and payroll support.
• Understand and adhere to Hong Kong financial regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting system.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong financial regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
