In Short

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Verify that all transactions are correctly recorded in the ledger and perform partial checks on posting processes to maintain data integrity.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to align company records with bank statements.
• Enter data, maintain accurate financial records, and generate detailed reports for management.
• Process accounts receivable and payable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Maintain full sets of books for a portfolio of clients, including managing fixed asset registers, raising journals, and preparing financial reports using Xero.
• Prepare Quarterly/Annual BAS and IAS to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide payroll support for clients, ensuring accurate and compliant processing.
• Manage Xero and Dext accounts for clients, ensuring smooth operation and accuracy.

Requirements

• Work closely with the bookkeeping and tax accounting teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to address queries and provide updates.
• Understand and comply with Australian financial regulations to ensure legal and ethical practices.
