In Short

• Act as an internal epidemiology strategist, collaborating with technical, product, and research leads.
• Partner with CDC and public health stakeholders to align system workflows with policies.
• Ensure the system supports real-world case investigation and surveillance workflows.
• Provide subject matter expertise on integrating core public health data streams.
• Identify user needs and system issues to tackle first using human-centered design.
• Contribute to a collaborative leadership group ensuring public health voices are represented.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in public health practice.
• MPH, MSPH, PhD in Epidemiology, or MD.
• Familiarity with integrated disease surveillance systems.
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterative problem solving.
• Ability to navigate evolving public health policies and data requirements.
• Effective communication skills within a professional services environment.
• A passion for creating better public outcomes.
• Ability to travel for work.
