Skylight is a technology startup focused on improving family life through simple consumer products. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting team and ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

In Short

• Lead and optimize accounting operations including inventory and payroll.
• Oversee month-end close process ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Develop policies and internal controls for risk management.
• Manage annual financial statement audits.
• Drive process improvements and support systems implementations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and tax filings.
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing accounting operations.
